Covanant fadama as it is popularly called started well by collecting people's money in the form of investment, after some 30 days, the investor is paid 10% of his or her investment. Things started going badly in February 2012. Just like an earthquake waiting to happen, the crash was so devastating. Nobody expected it. The point I am empahsizing here is that I want Bishop Jonas Katung of Covenant Fadama to remember his calling as a high priest of the Almighty. You have been ordained by God to bring about justice in the land. Hence people committed their hard earned money into this venture strictly because credible men of God were involved.
It is saddening to note that you proclaimed on air that Covenant Fadama Multipurpose Cooperative Society was created by God to alleviate poverty, yet you are silent about the issue on ground. Many have died as a result of this problem, a lot more who committed their entire life savings have been impoverished, several others have lots their sanity. The odd story will go on and on....
Bishop Jonas Katung of Maranatha Covanant churches, God has committed a great mandate into your hands and you must not let it fail!
You must seek this God who has given you this mandate to proffer a righteous way out of it. Running away or remaining silent will not and can never bring a solution to the issue on ground.
This is an opportunity for you to manifest the Glory of God that you carry. Do you know that God is giving you the opportunity to change the lives of every member of Covenant Fadama?
I beg of you in the name of the God whom you serve to come out and tell the world about what happened to Covenant Fadama Multipurpose Cooperative Society. If you die today, what will you tell your God? The sheep he has committed into your hands, how did you lead them? what do you want to be remembered for?
I beg every man of God reading this appeal to pray for earnestly for members who are really suffering, speak to Bishop Jonas Katung and others to do something drastic about the situation.

Transnational fund is just a third party where Fadama invested our money, they pay fadama 13% of the total investement, while fadama paid us 10% (they keep 3% as profit).
We do not have any business with transnational fund since we did not invest with them as an individual. Only those who invested with them as individuals can contact them for other issues.
For those of us who invested through fadama, then the management of covenant fadama will be in a better position to liaise on our behalf.

I have been a consistent follower on this blog and an investor whose family have millions of naira in fadama. I have followed this site with due deligence and with an open mind. It has all come out glaring that this is all a scam.Time to act is now. I have been quiet all this while because i was hoping all the empty promises would materialize. I am a lawyer in Lagos, for all those asking where all the barristers are, i was just trying to watch patiently but it seems this guys think we can be taken for a ride. the annoying part of the whole issue is that we got involved in this scam because we thought since it is been run by our so called pastors, we would be covered and they who are on the management team are all living very large. I already saw this coming when fadama started changing their terms of agreement and percentage rate, i warned my family, but they wouldn't listen to me, just a few months after they decided to invest millions, convenant fadama decided to pack up. Am a very busy person, but i find time to drop by and see if there are any new improvements but it's all a scam. The time to act is now, we invested in Zaria and as i speak to you now, a lawsuit is already underway. I have spoken to a very senior judge of the Federal High Court in Lagos as to our chances after i showed him all the evidence i have against fadama and he told me categorically to get busy and sue them with immediate effect. I have discussed with a no nonsense barrister in Zaria who i will be working with and also a very senior barrister in Lagos who is a specialist in this aspect and together, we will all be working on the court processes. The suit will have to be instituted in the High Court in Zaria, we will be suing Bishop Jonas Katung (carrying on business under the name and style of Convenant Fadama Multi Purpose Cooperative Society of Nigeria), we will also sue their agent in Zaria as co- defendants(even if he was an agent of a disclosed principal, all our money went through him and he has his signature on all our documents). In case you are in Zaria and you are interested to join in this suit, feel free to drop your name and details so that we can all sue as plantiffs, i am already working on the statement of claim, having finshed with the writ of summons, so time is of the essence, if you want to be an interested party. Fadama will not get away with this, it is a promise, they think they are smart by inserting clause in the contract agreement that will absolve them from all liabilities, but they are not so smart, as i have their loop hole, they must produce the cash or we garnishee every single thing they have, i will make sure i take them down in all aspects, for making me waste my very limited time, energy and resources and they will so pay special damages to cover all this. We know no transnational fund and WCF,that is their business, what we had with them was a unit trust scheme, so what they did with our money is their business, not ours, all we want is our money. That's all. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

Anyone is ready to go jail for plea bargain on this and i dont know whether this concept is applicable here.

Plea bargain? to prevent jail term? Plea bargain is applicable when an accused own up to his act so that he and the prosecutor will reach can amicable settlement for him to get a reduced sentence. Plea bargain is mostly applicable to criminal matters. The most appropriate form we would have adopted here is Alternative Dispute Resolution(A.D.R),but that is what they've been adopting by promising to pay and fail to keep to their promises.We could also bring a criminal suit against them because their fraudulent activities have caused the death of many others out of poverty due to dashed hopes.
Please, i don't want to be misunderstood, some one sent a mail to my box asking whether the suit is meant to be for Zaria members alone not Convenent Fadama members in Nigeria. Please, there is something in law called jurisdiction, you have to institute your action in the state it occurred, else, the court will not be able to determine the matter and it will be struck out. Once it is struck out, you have to start all over again and institute in the right court and all that, so that was why i said Zaria. But we will look for a way of consolidating the action, as long as there are members in Zaria as well as other places, we could all join as plaintiffs in Zaria, or better still, since their head office is in Jos, we will just file a joint suit in Jos where they carried on business. I will have to take a look at the Pleateau State High Court Civil Procedure Rules to crystallize my position.

I am pleased because I can see my dream coming through. When I came up with the idea of this blog, it was really challenging coupled with the series of threats and mistrust by people. Reliable info cannot come from Godson, Pls erase your thoughts on his information which are always baseless because they hold no substance. His several info have been tested and all lack credibility. They are lies intended to raise falls hopes and kill our determination to struggle for our money. But he has failed as the case is already in court. That is why he cannot comment again because the game is up and the reality has come. Remember He said on june 4 (see comment 57 above)that if by june ending, no good news from covfadama on how to pay us our money, He (Godson)would tell us What to do to get our money back.
